The storyline of this track is that your everyday machines are slowly taking over. You think your iPhone is off but it isn't. The microwave thinks it can cook better than you and it's talking to your coffee maker, and so on. Machines talk in dial-up modem code. You don't use dial-up anymore so you can't hear them. But they talk. You are the imperfection in their lives. You better watch out.
