Following on from the massive techno hit , the "Pure Sonik Youth" EP (PURE31), the last 2019 release as DJ T-1000 on Alan Oldham's longtime Pure Sonik Records imprint is "The Loft Bed Sessions" EP (PURE32) where the musical shape-shifter lays down his own funky definition of House Music.

"International Player" comes out of nowhere with a stone Detroit club groove, a breezy melodic lead line, open hi-hats and heavy swing. Quite different from the usual AO techno!

"Tighten Up" adds some ghetto humor to the tight and funky grooves, warning thots and h*es out there to "Tighten Up!"

The cover is an old family photo of AO's late and favorite Uncle Donald Whitfield and his girlfriend, Carol, taken circa 1975. Uncle Donald's stone-cold pimp style of the day was a great fit for this funky, lowdown release!
