Detroit Techno legend Alan Oldham returns with "Drums and Weapons." The long-awaited new release and the final album under the DJ T-1000 name, completing the trilogy begun with "Progress" and "Neutra."

"Drums and Weapons" proves that you can take the man out of Detroit (Oldham has resided for some time in both Chicago and Berlin), but you can't take Detroit out of the man. The nine tracks on display here mark a personal return to pure (sonik), 4/4 old-school Detroit Techno and deep house.
